Making her Woodside Musical Theatre directorial debut, Tanika is honored to be the first woman of color to direct for Woodside! Tanika works full time as a director, actor, vocalist and costume designer in the Bay Area, San Diego and sometimes NY. Past directorial regional credits include: The Piano Lesson (Sankofa Theatre) Playground SF, Bull in a China Shop, Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betty's (Pear Theatre) How Black Mothers Say I Love You, At the Wake of a Dead Drag Queen (Theatre Rhinoceros) Assistant Director, Fight Captain and ASM Pass Over ( Marin Theatre Company) and was most recently awarded Theatre Bay Area's Arts Leadership Cohort Grant with Theatre Rhinoceros. Tanika is 3x SFBATCC nominee for direction, choreography & costume design.
Justin is an accomplished music director, teacher, leader, arranger, and pianist. He has worked with wide variety of organizations in the Bay Area, including the Napa School of Music, Santa Rosa Symphony, Music to My Ears (Cotati), Cappuchino High School, 6th St Playhouse (Santa Rosa), Cinnabar Theater, Throckmorton Theater, Sunnyvale Players, and more. He has been a piano/vocal music arranger for Hal Leonard since 2003.
Sara is currently the Executive Artistic Director at South Bay Musical Theatre, celebrating their 60th season in 2023. She has worked in management for American Musical Theatre of San Jose, San Jose Repertory Theatre, and Children's Musical Theater of San Jose. Recent projects include Follies (Choreographer) with Redwood Symphony and The Spitfire Grill (Director/ Choreographer) with SBMT.
