She recently contributed to the production of the film IN THE MIDST OF T.H.E.M. as the Assistant to the Executive Producer. This role marks her second engagement in film, following her dynamic performance with Tabia African American Theater Ensemble, where she portrayed Mrs. Shine and Mrs. Rosa, and served as an understudy for Big Mama. Brenda co-produced SEUSSICAL with WMT and was also co-producer of 2022 production of BRIGHT STAR. Through her work on these projects, she has forged valuable connections with accomplished artists, paving the way for future collaborations on exciting new projects. Brenda's journey in theater began after a fulfilling career in Communications. Her passion for the arts led her to co-produce ONCE ON THIS ISLAND with Sunnyvale Community Players, following her earlier roles as The Messenger and Pit Singer in THE WIZ with SCP, and a successful run in the ensemble of South Bay Musical Theater's production of BIG RIVER. A testament to the belief that "it's never too late to follow your dreams", Brenda balances her theater work with her love for movies, supporting her church IT department, traveling, and enjoying a good game of Bid Whist.
